My brother told me about this place so, when I went to there to look at the condition of a possible listing, I decided to try it out. Utterly fantastic! The young lady who took my order was friendly and high energy. The one who delivered my food was also very kind and prompt. There were elements that reminded me of an out-of-the-way place from years ago with nice little things for sale like drinks, candy, etc. But larger and with much better food!
First time here and it was very delicious. It was different than I thought because its inside of a convenience store. But very friendly customer service and excellent food. This place is a must try
Captain’s Corner has the most delicious looking food on social media, so I decided to stop in after Eagle Days at Smithville Lake. The BEST burger I’ve had in my life & I’m a chef. 😋❤️💫 The young man at the counter was polite & service was amazing. The 2 young ladies making the food were amazing. I ordered the cowboy burger & fries. WOW!! I can’t wait to come back!! It’s a clean, little, small town place & I’m so glad I decided to try it. You’re my new favorite spot!! Thanks so much!
Food is delicious and staff is friendly. Great options, but it is first come first serve and they can run out. The burgers are huge. While they are good, they are clearly pre-formed patties. The menu is unique in its options. The tenderloin sandwiches delicious. Their sweet potato fries and their onion rings are fantastic. Their drinks are gas station style. Seating is limited, but you have options inside and outside. Plus, the local ice cream parlor is right across the street... If you manage to have room for dessert somehow. Definitely check out the general store part before you leave, they have some unique selections.
This place is actually good. My wife and I shared the Jalapeno popper burger and a turkey pesto sandwich, both were great. Very friendly staff. It's also a big convenience store for campers or people enjoying the lake.
This was our first time coming to this establishment me and my husband are not from the area we just happened to stop in the area to go fishing and had lunch here this place has the BEST BURGER WE EVER HAD we both had the bbq pork burger omg it was made with love and perfection, the service was great those young men working in the front was soo professional and respectful very helpful they deserve a pay raise IF YOU ARE EVER IN THE AREA PLEASE STOP BY you will not be disappointed DEFINITELY A 5 STAR ESTABLISHMENT!!!! We live in Colorado but we will be back
This spot has so much character and charm. You can choose to sit inside or enjoy the outdoor seating, and the whole place feels like a step back in time. It’s a fun mix of an old-school gas station, a bait and feed shop, and a cozy café serving fresh meals and baked treats. The staff does a great job bringing everything right to your table, and the food tastes homemade and fresh. A really enjoyable stop with a unique, nostalgic vibe.
This place was awesome! Loved the food, atmosphere & the whole vibe of the place! It was like stepping back in time with a twist! I got the double cowboy burger! I walked out of here stuffed....but I picked up the amazing smores brownie before I left! Everyone loved it! I can tell the bacon was actually smoked! A+ experience!
Absolutely awesome. If you're considering driving out here, do it. They have a creative menu which I genuinely appreciated, and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect, and the hiking trails near by made for a perfect way to walk off all the calories we had just consumed. 😂
First time here. A couple buddies and I decided to go fishing that afternoon. On our way they suggested we stop at this place. I was advised that they had really good burgers. And I enjoy a really good burger from time to time. We pulled up and the parking lot was packed! Walked inside and you can see why. You can hear the hustle and bustle of a busy joint. I mean, we waited for almost 20 mins for our to go order. But what do you expect? People were coming and going because this place was that good! Have to try it yourself to believe it...
